I was quite impressed by the medieval town of Stein am Rhein in North Switzerland where I spent the last weekend. I already put up a blog post on Sunday with a few pictures, and here are a few more that give a good overview of the town and its surroundings.

The Rhine is still very clean when it passes by Stein am Rhein

M, still trying to figure out why they hold the conference there…?
Not sure, but I assume the local municipality may have sponsored the event (the mayor gave a speech, we had a dinner in the castle etc.). The location is actually quite central, just 45 min from Zurich airport and on the border of Germany close to the main Autobahns. And of course a nice location attracts people more than a conference in some functional (but ugly) conference hall in the middle of a big city!
